This master-level seminar series critically analyzes many concepts of space and the modes of production responsible for their emergence. Emphasizing the implications for creative practice, the subject compares a broad spectrum of technologies ranging from speech and writing to automated robotic manufacturing. The discussion emphasizes theoretical and practical influences exerted by digital technologies on perception, communication, knowledge, professional practice and social life in the field of architecture.
